A Toast to the Bride and Groom
Joe & Darlene Ramirez
To Joe and Darlene, our glasses we raise.
To wish them the best, for the rest of their days.
Here’s to the life that, together, they’ll share.
A life filled with love, filled with laughter and care.
A toast for the bride, Joe, so luckily found.
Here’s to her right to now boss him around.
A toast to the leash that he now has attached.
A toast to a couple, quite perfectly matched.
A toast to Darlene, for settling for Joe.
As everyone know, he is no Fabio.
A toast to the father of Joe’s lovely bride.
He fin’ly is rid of that thorn in his side.
A toast to the groom with his bride, so good lookin’.
Too bad she can’t clean and she don’t do no cookin’.
A toast to a poem that is lacking in taste.
One that I probably should have erased.
To Joe and Darlene, all joking aside.
Joe, you have found you a wonderful bride.
Here’s to the love you continue expressing.
Here’s to your future and here’s to God’s blessing.
Here’s to the people who’ve gathered tonight.
Here’s to an evening of joyful delight.
Here’s to good friends! You are two of my dearest.
Here is to Mr. and Mrs. Ramirez!
