I Will Miss You, Mr. Smith

Dean Smith (Nick’s 2nd grade teacher) at Adams School

Mr. Smith, our time is over.
It is time for me to go.
Second grade was awesome,
I just wanted you to know.

You have been my favorite teacher.
We had shared a lot of fun.
My dad and I both thank you,
For a job that you’d well done.

I’d truly like to thank you,
For my special, pink award.
You made me feel so special.
Never once was I ignored.

I learned a lot. You taught me well.
I feel I’ve made a friend.
Now that school is over,
I am sad to see it end.

I wanted you to know that
You made second grade a ball.
I hope your summer’s awesome.
I will see you in the fall.

I will never forget you!
