Sometimes, Life Don’t Seem Fair

Earnestly written for a long time friend of the family suffering with very advanced Cancer and the illness that accompanies treatment. I ask you to Pray for him, with all of your heart and to ask all those you know to do the same. I pray that God responds to each and every one of them

Jimmy, I have mem’ries, fond, of you.
From playing ball those past years, thru.
Hearing what, which you are dealing.
I can’t imagine what it is you’re feeling.

I know God’s hand is guiding you,
With strength, he is providing you.
He’s waiting on the other side.
His door, for you, is open wide.

My prayer, that peace, please, be with you.
Let God do what he needs to do.
Your life may appear, to you, He is stealing.
But, Jim I believe He’s a God that does healing.

As great of a guy, I never have met.
Your sickness had filled me with thoughts of regret.
I sit here and think, we go back so dang far.
My memories of slow-pitch when you played for Star.

I’ll pray for you, Jimmy. I’ll pray every day.
That God will bring healing, I’ll pray and I’ll pray.
If not then I’ll ask him to fill you with peace,
As you go thru this trial, till your cancer doth cease.
