You’re One Teacher I’ll Remember
A Poem Written by Me Expressing my Son’s feelings towards his 3rd Grade Teacher, Bill Bessiere
Third grade, for me is over.
I am moving on to four.
This poem, I’ve written special,
for a teacher I adore.
You’re one I will remember,
all my life, so very dear.
Thanks so much for teaching me.
You great, Mr. Bessiere!
Thanks for all your patience!
For all your help and kindness too.
For all the special little things
That you would always do.
I hope my little sister has you,
When she gets to be my age.
My dad has made a promise to you,
He’ll provide the cage.
So sad our time is over!
That our time with you is done.
You made third grade most memorable.
You also made it fun.
The job that you’re committed to,
In educating me,
Has helped me in improving,
Who it is I’ve come to be.
I’m sorry for the times that I,
To you, was not so nice.
Those times I didn’t listen to you,
Take your good advice.
I never will forget you,
And the way you taught your class.
I hope I get you next year,
If, by chance, I do not pass.
